About the Program

Sister Somalia was founded in response to the weaponization of sexual violence in conflict. We provide a safe haven and comprehensive support system for survivors.

Our model moves from 'Recovery to Empowerment', equipping survivors with skills to lead self-determined lives and enable new protection structures within the community.
