The Sacrifice
Elman is assassinated for his peace work. Fartuun Adan is forced to flee with their daughters.
The Return
Fartuun returns to Somalia alone, restarting the organization from a single room to honor the legacy.
The Future
Ilwad Elman joins the mission. Together, they expand to address climate, gender justice, and human rights.

Drop the Gun, Pick Up the Pen
First instituted by Elman Ali Ahmed to draw children and young adults away from clan militias by exchanging weapons for alternative dignified livelihoods.

Sister Somalia
Established to support survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in rebuilding and reclaiming their lives.

Education
We believe education can be a critical deterrent to violence and that violence can be a critical deterrent to education.

Training & Placing
A program that prepares and supports men and women in Somalia to pursue dignified livelihoods by providing marketable skills.

We know movement, well-being, and sporting activities like football can have incredible impacts on the healing of young people following devastating life events.
